Abstract

"PROTEìNA LIGADORA DE SACAROSE DE PLANTA MODIFICADA, MOLéCULA DE áCIDO NUCLEICO CODIFICANDO UMA PROTEìNA LIGADORA DE SACAROSE DE PLANTA MODIFICADA, VETOR, PLANTA TRANSGêNICA EXPRESSANDO UMA PROTEìNA LIGADORA DE SACAROSE DE PLANTA MODIFICADA, MOLéCULA DE áCIDO NUCLEICO ISOLADA CODIFICANDO UMA PROTEìNA LIGADORA DE SACAROSE DE PLANTA, CASSETE DE EXPRESSãO RECOMBINANTE, PLANTA TRANSGêNICA COMPREENDENDO UM CASSETE DE EXPRESSãO RECOMBINANTE, MOLéCULA DE áCIDO NUCLEICO RECOMBINANTE E PLANTA TRANSGêNICA COMPREENDENDO UMA MOLéCULA DE áCIDO NUCLEICO RECOMBINANTE". Um cDNA codificando uma proteína ligadora de sacarose de planta (SBP, iniciais do original Sucrose Binding Protein) é fornecido, juntamente com SBPs modificadas apresentando atividade de absorção de sacarose aumentada num sistema de ensaio em levedura. São também fornecidos vetores de ácidos nucleicos, células transgênicas e plantas transgênicas apresentando atividade de absorção de sacarose modificada. A invenção está também relacionada com seq³ências promotoras úteis para o controle de expressão de transgenes em plantas, incluindo transgenes SBP.
