Abstract
"MéTODO PARA A FABRICAçãO DE UMA PASTA AQUOSA E FOTODURáVEL DE PIGMENTO DIóXIDO DE TITâNIO" A presente invenção refere-se a um novo método para a fabricação de uma pasta aquosa e fotodurável de pigmento de dióxido de titânio (TiO~ 2~). O método envolve a mistura de alumina amorfa, partículas de pigmento de TiO~ 2~, água e pelo menos um dispersante para formar a pasta. A pasta inicial compreende pelo menos cerca de 78 % em peso de sólidos de TiO~ 2~ e pelo menos 3% em peso de alumina. A pasta resultante pode ser diluída até um teor mais baixo de sólidos de TiO~ 2~, sendo subseq³entemente peneirada e submetida à moagem média. A pasta de pigmento dióxido de titânio é apropriada para uso em formulações de revestimento, tais como tintas.
