Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B>"ARQUITETURA DE UM SISTEMA DE COMUNICAçãO PARA MúLTIPLOS USUáRIOS COM TRANSMISSORES DISTRIBUìDOS"<D>. é descrita uma nova arquitetura para o processamento de sinais para estações base e portais ou gateways (124, 126) usados em sistemas de comunicação de espectro espalhado (100) que simplifica a transferência de dados, reduz a capacidade requerida de canaletas (bus) e não requer sincronização especial de sinais que devem ser combinados. Uma série de módulos de transmissão (508~ 1~ a 508~ M~) é usada para transferir dados a membros correspondentes de uma série de transmissores analógicos (412~ 1~ - 412~ M~) usados para formar circuitos de comunicação para cada usuário do sistema. Cada módulo de transmissão (508~ 1~ a 508~ M~) emprega uma série de codificadores (502~ MR~) e moduladores (504~ MS~) para formar sinais de comunicação espalhados, utilizando códigos de espalhamento PN apropriados. Sinais de comunicação de espectro espalhado provenientes de cada módulo (508) para cada usuário do sistema (D) são somados (510~ 1~ a 510~ M~) e transferidos para um único transmissor analógico (412) associado àquele módulo. Os sinais que estão sendo combinados são automaticamente sincronizados por sinais de temporização comuns usados para os elementos no interior de cada módulo. O número de elementos de processamento no interior de cada módulo é tal que pelo menos uma via de processamento fica disponível para cada usuário ou canal de usuário através do qual se deseja transmitir informações através do transmissor analógico (412~ 1~ a 412~ M~) conectado. Os dados são emitidos a partir dos módulos (508~ 1~ a 508~ M~) a uma taxa de transferência grandemente reduzida que pode ser mais facilmente acomodada usando-se a tecnologia atual. Isto é de grande utilidade para sistemas de comunicação baseados em satélites, ou sistemas celulares de grande capacidade, e tal arquitetura de sistema pode ser obtida de forma económica usando-se uma série de módulos de circuitos que podem ser facilmente fabricados.
