Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B> "CABO DE COMUNICAçõES PARA INSTALAçãO AéREA"<D>. The coaxial cable includes an inner conductor, a dielectric surrounding the inner conductor, an external tubular metallic wrap surrounding the dielectric, and optionally a protective jacket surrounding the metallic wrap. The communications cable is so manufactured that the ratio of the length of the coaxial cable to the length of the support cable is between about 1.005 and 1.015. The communications cable is also preferably wrapped around the support cable using a variable coach segment in such a way as to minimize signal loss due to cable damage. The communication cable of the invention is especially suitable for aerial installation and can be installed in one pass, without the need for the formation of expansion loops in the coaxial cable.
