Abstract
"CENTRO DE CONEXãO DE ETHERNET DISTRIBUìDO". Uma técnica para multiplexar dados a alta velocidade com sinais de voz digitalizados em um cabo de fibra óptica para transferência a um escritório central local. Os pacotes de dados de um determinado número de computadores são postos em rede por meio de um centro de conexão distribuído que se estende a residências, escritórios, apartamentos. Os pacotes de dados são comutados fora do tecido de comutação de um escritório central local e postos em rota à Internet ou qualquer outro lugar. Os sinais de comando que são para acessar a Internet são transmitidos e recebidos como pacotes de dados de Ethernet a 10 MHz no centro de conexão distribuído.
