Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B>"MéTODO DE PREVENIR CONTATO DE OXIGêNIO COM UMA FUNDIçãO DE METAL"<D>. Em um método de prevenir contato de oxigênio com uma fundição de metal durante fundição contínua, a fundição de metal 20 flui dentro de um câmara de fundição limitada por paredes (1, 2, 13) e deixa esta câmara com uma corrente. No sentido de prevenir completamente o contato do oxigênio com a fundição de metal e assim a reoxidação, o oxigênio tentando entrar via quaisquer intervalos (18) entre as paredes (1, 2, 13) e/ou aderindo às paredes (1, 2) é removido por sucção.
