Abstract

Patente de Invenção para "RETENTOR DE FIO DENTAL". Um retentor de fio dental inclue um par de braços, cada braço tendo uma porção média e primeia e segunda porções terminais opostas. A primeira porção terminal de cada braço se encurva externamente para fora a partir de sua respectiva porção média, no qual as porções médias dos braços estão posicionadas próximas à uma outra, de modo a definir uma articulação. As segundas porções terminais são móveis entre um primeira posição na qual as primeiras porções terminais dos braços divergem para fora uma da outra, e uma segunda posição na qual as primeiras porções teminais são movidas em direção à uma outra. O material de fio dental apresenta uma extremidade segura à primeira porção terminal de um braço, e uma extermidade oposta segura à primeira porção terminal do outro braço. O material de fio dental apresenta uma primeira tensão quando as primeiras porções terminais estão em sua posição espaçada à parte, e uma segunda tensão quando à uma outra, referida primeira tensão sendo maior do que a segunda tensão. Concretizações adicionais do retentor de fio dental são também contempladas.
