Abstract

''CONECTOR PARA CONECTAR SEçõES DE TUBULAçãO''. Um conector de tubulação compreendendo um membro de pino tubular (1) tendo uma superfície externa genericamente tronco-cónica e um membro de caixa tubular (2) tendo uma superfície interna correspondendo à superfície do membro de pino, que está sobreposta à superfície do membro de pino quando os membros estão totalmente engatados. As porções centrais (3a,4a) das superfícies troncocónicas são providas com formações inter-engatáveis complementares (5,6) e com porções extremas (3b,3c,4b,4c) que são genericamente espaçadas em afastamento, tendo anéis anulares topejantes (20,21) para transferir tensões de arco causadas por uma diferença de pressão através das paredes do conector. Seguindo-se ao desgaste do conector (1,2), a nervura também serve para reduzir o material removido a partir do, ou de cada membro quando ele é re-cortado.
