Abstract

PROCESSO PARA DETERMINAR A DENSIDADE DE UMA FORMAçãO DE SOLO. Aparelho para determinar a densidade de formações de sub superfície que cercam um poço, tal como uma ferramenta de perfilagem a cabo ou uma ferramenta de perfilagem-durante-perfuração, inclui uma fonte de neutron para irradiar as formações de dentro do poço e pelo menos um detector que detecta neutrons e raios gama no poço resultante da irradiação das formações com neutrons. Detectores múltiplos também podem ser usados para detectar separadamente neutrons e raios gama. sinais detectados de neutron e raios gama são, cada um, analisados e combinados para determinar a densidade de uma formação de solo.
