Abstract

"MéTODO E APARELHO PARA APLICAçãO DE UMA COMPOSIçãO DE GOMAGEM A FIBRAS DE VIDRO". Trata-se de um método e de um aparelho (10) que são proporcionado para a produção de fibras de fibra engomadas de maneira uniforme. Uma bucha aquecida (12) fornece fluxos de vidro derretido a serem estridados em fibras contínuas (14) e um dispositivo de estiramento (20) transforma os fluxos em fibras. Um aplicador de goma (30) tem um elemento de revestimento (44) que engata as fibras estiradas (14), que aplica um revestimento de composição de gomagem às fibras. Uma sapata (50) espaçada do aplicador engata as fibras (14) e faz com que as fibras se movimentem para frente e para trás, varrendo o elemento (44).
