Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B>"PEPTìDEO COM ATIVIDADE INIBIDORA PARA FUNGOS PATOGêNICOS DE PLANTAS"<D>. Foi descoberto que a lactoferricina tem atividade antifúngica contra patógenos vegetais. São preparadas estruturas genéticas compreendendo um gene sintético para lactoferricina bovina e são usadas para fornecer plantas resistentes a doenças transgênicas. Também é descrito um método de transformar as plantas para expressar lactoferricina a qual é expressa em plantas para prover resistência a doenças àquelas plantas.Invention Patent: <B> "PEPTIDE WITH INHIBITIVE ACTIVITY FOR PLANT PATHOGENIC FUNGI" <D>. Lactoferricin has been found to have antifungal activity against plant pathogens. Genetic structures are prepared comprising a synthetic gene for bovine lactoferricin and are used to provide plants resistant to transgenic diseases. Also described is a method of transforming plants to express lactoferricin which is expressed in plants to provide disease resistance to those plants.
