A folha é flexível em temperatura ambiente e está adaptada para ser aplicada a um item alimentício e para se desintegrar em temperaturas de cozimento elevadas, para liberar o produto para realçar o sabor no item alimentício. O produto para realçar o sabor dos alimentos é fabricado através da passagem de uma folha (32) de produto comestível em torno de um rolo (10) e dirigindo o produto para realçar o sabor para a folha (32) por meio de um vaporizador (26) em uma câmara de vácuo (12).
