Abstract

<B>"MATERIAL PERMEáVEL DE CONTROLE DE FLUXO DE LìQUIDO"<D>. Material de controle de fluxo de líquido permeável composto de: 1) uma folha permeável tendo uma pluralidade de superfícies expostas individuais, pelo menos uma porção das quais tem uma energia de superfície menor do que aproximadamente 45 dinas/cm; e 2) proteínas anfifílicas adsorvidas sobre pelo menos algumas superfícies expostas individuais para definir uma distribuição gradiente de revestimento de proteína anfifílica ao longo de pelo menos uma dimensão da folha permeável de modo que o revestimento de proteína anfifílica adsorvida proporciona capacidade de umedecimento controlado ao longo de pelo menos uma dimensão do material de controle de fluxo de líquido.
