Abstract

"SISTEMA DE ACESSO E PROCESSO PARA PROPORCIONAR ACESSO INTERATIVO A UMA FONTE DE INFORMAçõES ATRAVéS DE UM SISTEMA DE DISTRIBUIçãO DE TELEVISãO". Um sistema de acesso interativo e processo de acessar uma fonte de informações através de um sistema de distribuição de televisão (11) são apresentados. O sistema de distribuição inclui uma rede de distribuição de televisão (12), equipamento de distribuição de extremo de cabeça (36), e uma pluralidade de terminais. Um dispositivo de entrada e um transmissor a montante (64) são associados com um dos terminais para introduzir um comando a montante para a fonte de informações. O equipamento de distribuição de extremo de cabeça (36) se associa com um servidor de extremo de cabeça (38) que é interconectado com a fonte de informações, receptor a montante (64) que encaminha o comando para o servidor de extremo de cabeça (38), e insere partes sequenciais em intervalos de supressão de uma transmissão de televisão num canal a jusante.
