Abstract

<B>COMBUSTìVEL REFRIGERADO PARA MOTORES<D> Um método de abastecer um motor (92) de um veículo tendo um tanque de armazenagem de combustível (70) é obtido proporcionando um combustível líquido para abastecer o motor (92). O combustível é resfriado até temperaturas reduzidas substancialmente menores que a temperatura ambiente, de modo que o volume do combustível é reduzido. O combustível é armazenado no tanque de armazenagem (70), enquanto o combustível está nas temperaturas reduzidas, com o volume reduzido do combustível assim permitindo que mais combustível seja mantido no tanque de armazenagem (70) e/ou aumentando o valor de energia do combustível por volume unitário. O combustível pode ser transferido do tanque de armazenagem (70) para o motor (92), enquanto o combustível está nas temperaturas reduzidas.
