Abstract
"CABO óPTICO E PROCESSO PARA A FABRICAçãO DE UM CABO óPTICO PARA TELECOMUNICAçõES". Cabo de fibra ótica para telecomunicação, particularmente para redes de área local em escritórios, edifícios civis e similares, compreendendo um núcleo óptico formado de ao menos um módulo de fibra ótica com ao menos duas fibras óticas, envolvido por uma cobertura elástica e um revestimento plástico em torno dos módulos. O cabo compreende uma pluralidade de fios fibrosas, resistentes a tração, dispostos entre os módulos e o revestimento plástico; as meadas são dispostas aderindo uniformemente ao revestimento, em uma tal maneira, que os esforços, aos quais o revestimento é sujeito em serviço, são distribuídos uniformemente no interior do núcleo, e formam meios de desacoplamento entre revestimento e módulos. A aderência é, de preferência, obtida por meio de uma ou mais ações de flexionamento, executadas durante a construção do cabo.
