Abstract
"PROCESSO E APARELHO PARA RETIFICAR FERRAMENTAS DE CORTE, E, PROCESSO PARA DETERMINAR A POSIçãO DE PELO MENOS UMA SUPERFìCIE DE UMA LâMINA CORTANTE DO TIPO DE GRUDAR". Um processo para retificar ferramentas de corte do tipo que compreende uma pluralidade de lâminas cortantes do tipo de grudar (3) fixadas liberavelmente num cabeçote porta-fresa (2), as lâminas cortantes possuindo uma aresta cortante (12) e uma superfície de alívio de lado cortante (8) orientada a um ângulo de alívio predeterminado (y). O processo compreende montar uma ferramenta de corte no (46) de um aparelho de retificação (40) que possui um de ferramenta de corte e uma sonda de medição (20) com a sonda sendo capaz de ser movida ao longo de uma primeira direção (eixo dos YY) que define o curso de desvio de sonda, e ao longo de uma segunda direção (26) que define movimento de alimentação para dentro/para fora da sonda (20). A superfície de alívio de lado cortante (8) da lâmina cortante é posicionada em relação à sonda (20), com o que a superfície de alívio de lado cortante (8) é substancialmente paralela à direção de curso de desvio de sonda. A superfície de lado cortante (8) da lâmina cortante é sondada e a leitura de posição é registrada. A posição registrada é comparada com uma posição predeterminada, e (a) se a posição registrada está dentro de uma faixa de tolerância previamente fixada da posição predeterminada, a ferramenta de corte é indexada para uma outra lâmina cortante, ou, (b) se a posição registrada está fora de uma faixa de tolerância previamente fixada da posição predeterminada, a posição da lâmina cortante no cabeçote porta-fresa é ajustada axialmente de uma quantidade para colocar em nova posição o lado cortante dentro da faixa de tolerância previamente fixada.
