Abstract
APARELHO PARA CURVATURA E TRANSPORTE DE FOLHA DE VIDRO. é fornecido um aparelho (10) de curvatura por pressão para configuração de folhas de vidro amolecidas por calor entre um elemento (30) de pressão superior e um elemento (32) de pressão inferior. O sistema (28) de transportador para transferência das folhas de vidro (12) no aparelho de curvatura por pressão inclui (68) configurados cóncavos de modo que as folhas de vidro tendem a se flexionarem em conformidade com os cilindros (68) conforme as folhas sejam posiconadas para operações de curvatura entre os elementos de pressão superior (30) e inferior (32). O elemento de pressão inferior é um anel (50) de curvatura por pressão contínuo para prevenir flexionamento impróprio da folha de vidro (12) em torno das bordas periféricas da folha (12). A configuração cóncava dos cilindros (68) instalados no interior do anel (50) de pressão fornece sustentação máxima para a folha de vidro formada prevenindo flexionamento do vidro. Benefício adicionais de produção podem ser obtidos através da formação do sistema (28) de transportador e do elemento (32) de pressão inferior como uma unidade modular e do elemento (30) de pressão superior como uma unidade modular para cada modelo de vidro curvado para facilitar mudança dos elementos de pressão para alterações no modelo de produção.
