Abstract

<B>"MéTODO E APARELHO PARA PURIFICAR UMA MISTURA GASOSA INCLUINDO MOLéCULAS E/OU CéLULAS DE SUBSTâNCIAS TóXICAS OU POLUENTES".<D> O método inclui uma etapa de criar um fluxo da mistura, uma etapa de gerar uma descarga de elétrons a uma velocidade tal que crie uma zona em que a mistura seja ionizada e uma etapa de direcionar uma série de feixes de elétrons para interceptar o fluxo da mistura pelo que as ligações dos elétrons periféricos das moléculas e/ou células poluentes são quebradas pela colisão com os íons formados na mistura. O aparelho inclui uma célula de ionização (10) tendo um ânodo (12) e um cátodo emissor (13) excitado a uma voltagem negativa da ordem de 50.000 volts. O cátodo (13) tem uma série de elementos pontudos para emitir feixes elétricos (30) que se cruzam numa zona (11) de interceptação da mistura.
