Compostos de fórmula (Ia ) onde Z é (a), onde x é um número inteiro de 0 a 4, n é número inteiro de 0 a 5 e R é definido a seguir; ou (b), onde n é número inteiro de 0 a 5 e R é definido a seguir; R é selecionado do grupo constituído de: hidrogênio, C~ 1~-C~ 4~alquil; C~ 1~-C~ 4~alcoxi; halogênio; nitro; fenil; ciano; fenoxi; benziloxi; benzil; C~ 1~-C~ 4~ dialquilamino; C~ 1~-C~ 4~ alquiltio; C~ 1~-C~ 4~ haloalcoxi ou C~ 1~-C~ 4~ haloalquil; e R^ 1^ é um C~ 1~-C~ 4~ haloalquil outro que não cloroalquil, ou um grupo de fórmula (IIa), onde R^ 4^ é hidrogênio, halogênio, C~ 1~-C~ 4~ haloalquil ou C~ 1~-C~ 4~ haloalcoxi; ou sal fisiologicamente aceitável deles, com a provisão de que quanto x é O, R^ 1^ não é haloalquil. Estes compostos exibem atividade inseticida e acaricida.
