Novo modelo de pulseira preventiva de acidente por submersão, mais conhecido como afogamento, atua na prevenção de morte e/ou sequelas por afogamento, bem como no rastreamento, localização e monitoramento de indivíduos, especialmente aqueles mais vulneráveis como crianças, deficientes físicos e/ou mentais, idosos, pessoas que não sabem nadar e ou pessoas que estejam sob a influência de bebidas alcoólicas ou de outras substâncias psicoativas, quer seja em piscinas (residências, de clubes ou condomínios), praias, represas, rios, açudes e lagos. Esse controle se dá através da comunicação entre a pulseira do monitorado e o aparelho celular do monitor. A pulseira preventiva de acidente por submersão trata-se de um dispositivo simples, de baixo custo e funcional, composta basicamente por um circuito com sensor de umidade e que se comunica com um chip de celular, que contém o aplicativo (App) específico na tela, através da emissão de sinais como alarme de som, luz e/ou vibração, aproximadamente após 3 segundos do contato com a água, sem qualquer tipo de interferências externas.
