Abstract

A presente invenção se refere à disponibilidade de métodos de verificação de candidatos à mesclagem espacial e de um candidato à mesclagem temporal, à construção de uma lista de candidatos à mesclagem mediante o uso de candidatos à mesclagem espacial e temporária, à adição de um ou mais candidatos se o número de candidatos à mesclagem espacial e temporal disponíveis é menor que um número predeterminado. O candidato à mesclagem espacial é a informação de movimento de um bloco candidato à mesclagem espacial, o bloco candidato à mesclagem espacial é um bloco à esquerda, um bloco acima, um bloco acima à direita, um bloco abaixo à esquerda ou um bloco acima à esquerda do bloco atual, e se o bloco atual é uma segunda unidade de predição particionada por particionamento assimétrico, o candidato à mesclagem espacial correspondente a uma primeira unidade de predição particionada pelo particionamento é definido como indisponível. Sendo assim, a eficiência da codificação da informação de movimento é aperfeiçoada ao se remover os candidatos à mesclagem não disponíveis e ao se adicionar novos candidatos à mesclagem a partir da lista de mesclagem.
