Abstract
sistemas e métodos para determinar um ângulo de reboque articulado. sistemas e métodos determinam um ângulo de um reboque articulado em relação a um trator ao qual o reboque está engatado. um codificador óptico é posicionado abaixo da quinta roda de um trator para se acoplar ao pino mestre do reboque quando o reboque é engatado ao trator. o acoplador óptico tem um eixo giratório que pode incluir pinos que interagem fisicamente com o pino mestre e/ou pode incluir um ímã que se fixa magneticamente ao pino mestre. uma folga e o bloco de folga pode ser posicionado na placa de mola para interagir com uma superfície inferior de um pino mestre do reboque durante o engate do reboque ao trator. um lidar acoplado ao trator pode detectar a extremidade frontal do reboque para determinar o ângulo do reboque em relação ao trator.
