sistema de célula de combustível e seu método de operação. a presente invenção refere-se a um sistema de célula de combustível (1) preparado para a conversão de hidrogênio puro, que compreende: a) pelo menos uma célula de combustível (2) que compreende um ânodo (2a), um cátodo (2b), e um eletrólito (2c) disposto entre o ânodo (2a) e cátodo (2b), a célula de combustível (2) sendo ainda disposta para uma reforma interna de metano; b) um conduto de combustível (6) que conecta uma entrada de conduto de combustível (7) com uma entrada de anodo (2e); c) um conduto de exaustão do ânodo (4) que conecta uma saída do ânodo (2d) e uma unidade de metanação (3), a unidade de metanação (3) sendo capaz de produzir metano a partir da exaustão do ânodo; d) um conduto de exaustão da unidade de metanação (11) que conecta uma saída da unidade de metanação e o conduto de combustível (6); e e) uma unidade de remoção de água e/ou condensadora de água (12) acoplada ao conduto de exaustão da unidade de metanação (11), em que o combustível introduzido em uma entrada do conduto de combustível (7) do conduto de combustível (6) é hidrogênio puro, e em que a quantidade de metano produzido na unidade de meta-nação (3) é igual à quantidade de metano reformado dentro da célula de combustível (2) de modo que o teor de metano que passa através o sistema de célula de combustível (1) seja constante.
