Conjunto para uma tocha de arco de plasma compreendendo: - um elemento de contato elétrico (6), tendo uma superfície de contato proximal (25) para contato com um componente de fonte de energia (8) e uma cavidade com paredes laterais internas para contato com paredes laterais de uma porção de extremidade proximal (14) de um eletrodo (3), e - uma mola (4) para empurrar o eletrodo (3) para longe do elemento de contato elétrico (6), e - um elemento de isolamento (5) arranjado sobre o elemento de contato elétrico (6) e adaptado para impedir a transferência de corrente elétrica a partir do elemento de contato elétrico (6) para a mola (4).
