Abstract

SISTEMA PARA A CONSERVAÇÃO DE OXIGÊNIO FORNECIDO A UM PACIENTE; E SISTEMA PARA FORNECER UM SUPRIMENTO DE GÁS. Trata-se de um sistema (10) e método para conservação de oxigênio e outros gases fornecidos a um recipiente. Um conduto de suprimento (408) supre gás de uma fonte (406) a um reservatório (404), que retém um volume de gás em pressão ambiente. Um conduto (422) supre gás do reservatório (404) no recipiente. Um sistema de detecção de inflação, tal como um sistema eletromecânico ou um sistema sem contato (456), detecta quando o reservatório (404) está abaixo de um estado de inflação e quando o reservatório (404) está inflado ao estado de inflação. Um sistema de válvula evita que gás flua da fonte (406) para o reservatório (404) quando o reservatório (404) estiver no estado predeterminado de inflação, e o sistema de válvula permite que gás flua da fonte (406) para o reservatório (404) quando o reservatório (404) estiver abaixo do estado predeterminado de inflação, por meio de que o gás dentro do reservatório (404) pode ser continuamente reabastecido sem pressurização acima da pressão ambiente.
