Abstract

LENTE MULTIFOCAL E MÉTODO PARA PRODUZIR UMA LENTE MULTIFOCAL. A invenção refere-se a uma lente multifocal (1) tendo várias zonas de difração concêntricas (7, 8, 9, 10) em uma superfície da lente (2), sendo que cada zona difrativa (7, 8, 9, 10) é definida uma estrutura de fase de difração, que pode ser expressa pela seguinte função por partes, que compreende três durações de fase, ou por uma versão suavizada da seguinte função por partes: fi(xi)=2p×{¦(p_1, 0=<w_1@p_2+q_2, w_1=<w_2@p_3 +q_3, w_2=< 1)¦ (1) sendo que indica uma posição dentro da respectiva zona difrativa em uma direção radial, fi(xi) indica uma mudança de fase experimentada pela luz passando pela posição indicada por xi, w1 e w2 definem um particionamento espacial da respectiva zona difrativa na direção radial, p1, p2 e p3 indicam gradientes e q2 e q3 são constantes. A posição xi depende quadraticamente de uma distância radial ao centro da superfície da lente e é normalizada em relação à largura radial da respectiva zona difrativa e sendo os gradientes p1, p2 e p3 são negativos.
