Abstract

MÉTODO E DISPOSITIVO PARA RECUPERAR ENERGIA INTERNA DE GASES DE ESCAPE QUENTES. Em um processo termoquímico, um gás de síntese é queimado com oxigênio em um forno para formar um gás de escape quente. O gás de escape é subsequentemente descarregado no ambiente, enquanto a energia interna do gás de escape é pelo menos parcialmente usada para realizar uma reação de reforma. Para este fim, o vapor juntamente com um combustível contendo hidrocarboneto e um gás contendo oxigênio é fornecido a um reformador e é convertido em uma reação endotérmica em gás de síntese usando energia interna do gás de escape. O calor dos gases de escape é usado em particular para evaporar a água e para fornecê-la ao reformador no estado superaquecido. O gás de síntese é então fornecido ao forno como combustível. A invenção impede o influxo de constituintes indesejados da atmosfera do forno, em particular de compostos de enxofre, para o reformador.
