Abstract

MÉTODOS PARA TRATAR ESPASTICIDADE USANDO COMPOSIÇÕES ANTIESPASMÓDICAS E TERAPIA DE PRESSÃO NEGATIVA. A presente divulgação refere-se a uma composição, método e sistemas relacionados para tratamento e/ou prevenção de espasticidade em um paciente usando terapia de pressão negativa. A terapia de pressão negativa pode incluir a aplicação intermitente de pressão negativa a um membro ou parte de um corpo, como a alternância entre períodos de pressão negativa e pressão ambiente. A terapia de pressão negativa pode ser aplicada regularmente por um período predeterminado, de modo que seja administrada uma quantidade eficaz de pressão negativa para tratar a espasticidade e outros sintomas de doenças neurogenerativas. A terapia de pressão negativa pode ser aplicada para causar ativação intermitente do reflexo venoso arterial no corpo por um período sustentado, de modo que os sintomas de doenças neurogenerativas sejam aliviados ou evitados.
