Abstract

SINTAXE DE ALTO NÍVEL PARA CODIFICAÇÃO E DECODIFICAÇÃO DE VÍDEO. A presente invenção refere-se a um método para decodificar dados de vídeo a partir de um fluxo de bits, o fluxo de bits compreendendo dados de vídeo correspondentes a uma ou mais fatias. O fluxo de bits compreende um cabeçalho de imagem compreendendo elementos de sintaxe a serem usados quando decodificando uma ou mais fatias, e um cabeçalho de fatia compreendendo elementos de sintaxe a serem usados quando decodificando uma fatia, a decodificação compreendendo: analisar os elementos de sintaxe. O método inclui omitir a análise de um ou mais elementos de sintaxe para uma fatia relativa ao uso ou à disponibilidade de uma ferramenta ou parâmetro de decodificação para essa fatia se um ou mais elementos de sintaxe que forem analisados indicam que a imagem contém apenas uma fatia; e decodificar o dito fluxo de bits usando os ditos elementos de sintaxe.
