Abstract

UMA FERRAMENTA DE CORTE. A presente invenção se refere a uma ferramenta de corte compreendendo um substrato de metal duro, em que o metal duro compreende constituintes duros em um aglutinante metálico. Os constituintes duros compreendem WC e o conteúdo de WC no metal duro é de 80% em peso - 95% em peso. O metal duro possui um conteúdo de Fe + Ni + Co + Cr de 3% em peso - 13% em peso, e uma proporção atômica de 0,05 < Fe / (Fe + Ni + Co + Cr) < 0,35 e uma proporção atômica de 0,05 < Ni / (Fe + Ni + Co + Cr) < 0,35 e uma proporção atômica de 0,05 < Co / (Fe + Ni + Co + Cr) < 0,35 e uma proporção atômica de 0,05 < Cr / (Fe + Ni + Co + Cr) < 0,35. A resistência à rachaduras W é definida como a entalhe de dureza de Vickers. W como mensurada sobre a face comprimentos totais das rachaduras formadas nas arestas do entalhe de dureza de Vickers. W como mensurada sobre a face de saída da ferramenta de corte é pelo menos 25% maior do que a W como mensurada em uma seção transversal da área maciça da ferramenta de corte.
