Abstract

MÉTODOS E DISPOSITIVOS PARA APLICAÇÃO DE AGENTE TERAPÊUTICO LÍQUIDO EM TUMOR SÓLIDO. A presente invenção refere-se a vários métodos e dispositivos exemplares (10, 110, 210) para a aplicação de agentes terapêuticos líquidos em tumores sólidos. Em geral, um dispositivo de aplicação configurado para distribuir um agente terapêutico líquido em um tumor sólido ou outro tecido mole pode ser configurado para comprimir o tecido e vedar quaisquer espaços de fluido em torno do dispositivo de distribuição durante a administração do agente terapêutico líquido. Em uma modalidade exemplificativa, o dispositivo de distribuição inclui três eixos tubulares alongados (12, 14, 16, 112, 114, 116, 212, 214, 216), configurados para se moverem longitudinalmente um em relação ao outro. Os eixos tubulares alongados são configurados para cooperar um com o outro para liberar o agente terapêutico líquido através de uma passagem do dispositivo de distribuição para o tumor sólido ou outro tecido mole e vedar quaisquer espaços de fluido em torno do dispositivo de distribuição enquanto o agente terapêutico líquido é liberado no tumor sólido ou outro tecido mole.
