Abstract
MÉTODO PARA TRATAR UMA PEÇA FEITA DE METAL FERROSO, E, PEÇA DE NITRETAÇÃO FEITA DE METAL FERROSO. A invenção refere-se principalmente a um método para tratar uma peça (P) de metal ferroso, compreendendo: uma operação de nitretação formando na peça (P) uma camada combinada (2) de espessura entre 5 e 30 pm, e uma região de difusão (3), disposta abaixo e em contato com a camada de combinação (2), com espessura entre 100 pm e 500 pm; então uma operação de têmpera da peça (P) por indução de alta frequência, sobre uma profundidade de indução maior ou igual a 0,5 mm, endurecendo assim a peça (P) e levando à dita peça (P): uma dureza superficial maior ou igual a 50 HRC, uma dureza da camada de combinação (2) maior ou igual a 400 HV0,05, uma dureza da peça maior ou igual a 500 HV0,05 a uma profundidade de 500 pm, e em que a operação de têmpera por indução de alta frequência é realizada sem a aplicação de uma película protetora na peça (P) antes da operação de têmpera por indução. A invenção também se refere a uma peça (P) feita de metal ferroso, possuindo resistência significativa ao desgaste por abrasão e adesão, propriedades de atrito aprimoradas e resistência à incrustação aprimorada e bom comportamento à corrosão.
