Abstract
polarizador de mesogênio. a presente invenção se refere a um filtro de polarização para lentes oftálmicas. o filtro de polarização incluía uma camada de mesogênio revestida em um filme de retardamento, diretamente ou através de uma camada adesiva. a presente invenção divulga ainda que o filtro de polarização formado pelo emprego de uma película fina ou folha, tendo um nível definido de retardo entre a fonte de luz e a camada de mesogênio, por exemplo, uma camada de mesogênio colestérico, a estrutura laminada de múltiplas camadas demonstra polarização linear do luz transmitida através da estrutura laminada mesogênica e, portanto, pode ser usada em lentes oftálmicas, por exemplo, óculos ou lentes de óculos. o filtro de polarização melhora o desempenho, permitindo a transmissão do filtro de polarização mais próxima da transmissão máxima teórica.
