Abstract
método para renovação de um conversor catalítico. a presente invenção se refere a um método para renovação de um conversor catalítico em que: referido conversor catalítico compreende um vaso de pressão e um cartucho catalítico contendo pelo menos um leito catalítico, o vaso de pressão incluindo um casco cilíndrico com uma abertura completa e inclui uma cobertura removível de referida abertura, e o cartucho catalítico é removível através de referida abertura superior, e o método inclui: instalação de um casco adicional sobre a (ao longo da) abertura do casco original, por conseqüência, obtendo um casco axialmente estendido do vaso de pressão; provisão de um cartucho catalítico axialmente estendido possuindo um espaço axialmente estendido para sustentação de catalisador no assim obtido casco axialmente estendido.
