método para manipulação de hidrocarbonetos em uma plataforma offshore 14, 16 inclui a ausência de despressurização de emergência para um incêndio. o método compreende: dispor a plataforma 14, 16 de tal modo que não exista nenhum mecanismo para despressurização de emergência de um inventário de hidrocarbonetos da plataforma 14, 16 em caso de incêndio; restringir o tamanho da plataforma 14, 16 de forma que a evacuação dos funcionários possa ser alcançada antes da propagação do fogo devido à falta de despressurização de emergência; e permitir que um incêndio se propague pela combustão do inventário de hidrocarbonetos após a evacuação dos funcionários.
