a presente invenção refere-se a um gerador de ge68/ga68 para a produção contínua de um nuclídeo-filho de ga68, em que o nuclídeo-pai de ge68 do mesmo é especificamente adsorvido em um material de suporte inorgânico e em que o dito nuclídeo-pai de ge68 decai continuamente para ga68 pela captura de elétrons a uma meia-vida de 270,82 d, em que o material de suporte inorgânico é pelo menos um óxido de metal que é selecionado do grupo que consiste de: vanádio, nióbio e tântalo. a invenção também se refere ao uso de pelo menos um óxido de metal que é selecionado do grupo que consiste em: vanádio, nióbio e tântalo como material de suporte inorgânico para a fabricação de um gerador de ge68/ga68 para finalidades farmacêuticas. com o material de suporte inorgânico da presente invenção, é possível carregar os geradores de ge68/ga68 com até 8.000 mbq de ge68 (o que corresponde a 80 µg de germânio).
