Abstract
a presente invenção se refere a um instrumento cirúrgico de corte ósseo que inclui recursos para mitigar a geração de calor durante o uso. o calor excessivo pode ser prejudicial à saúde óssea, bem como ao próprio instrumento. em um exemplo, um recurso de dispensação de líquido fornece um fluxo de líquido de resfriamento a uma lâmina ultrassônica através de um lúmen em um guia de onda do instrumento. em outro exemplo, a lâmina tem uma borda serrilhada com uma pluralidade de dentes dispostos em um padrão para fornecer dimensão e espaço durante as ações de corte. em outro exemplo, a lâmina tem uma porção distal sobredimensionada que cria uma fenda de sobredimensionamento durante o corte para evitar o contato excessivo entre o osso cortado e porções proximais da lâmina. em outro exemplo, a lâmina inclui uma fenda de irrigação e também uma microfenda em uma extremidade distal da lâmina que se conecta à fenda de irrigação.
