Abstract

MÉTODOS E SISTEMA DE PROCESSAMENTO DE DADOS PARA GERAÇÃO DE ESTIMATIVAS PROBABILÍSTICAS DE TAXAS DE CHUVA A PARTIR DE MEDIÇÕES DE REFLETIVIDADE DE RADAR. Um método e sistema para gerar estimativas probabilísticas de intensidade de precipitação a partir de medições de refletividade de radar são fornecidos. Em uma modalidade, um sistema de computador de inteligência agrícola recebe medições de refletividade de radar para uma localização particular provenientes de uma fonte de dados externa. O sistema de computador de inteligência agrícola constrói uma distribuição de probabilidades de tamanhos de gotas descrevendo a probabilidade de que a precipitação incluiu gotas de vários tamanhos com base nas medições de refletividade de radar. O sistema de computador de inteligência agrícola amostra uma pluralidade de valores da probabilidade de distribuição de tamanhos de gotas e usa a pluralidade de valores e as medições de refletividade de radar para computar uma pluralidade de taxas de chuva.
