a presente invenção refere-se a um método de produção de componentes baseados em óleo, compreendendo as etapas de: prover vgo e cera leve; combinar vgo como um componente principal e a cera leve como um componente menor para prover um estoque de alimentação; submeter o estoque de alimentação a uma etapa de hidrocraqueamento para prover um primeiro eluente; fracionar primeiro eluente para prover pelo menos uma fração de fundo e uma fração de destilado médio; recuperar a fração de fundo e a fração de destilado médio. a invenção ainda provê um método para aperfeiçoamento de índice de viscosidade de óleo base compreendendo as etapas de: pro-ver vgo e parafina leve; combinar vgo como um componente princi-pal e a cera leve como um componente menor para provimento de um estoque de alimentação; submeter o estoque de alimentação a uma etapa de hidrocraqueamento para prover um primeiro eluente; fracionar primeiro efluente para prover pelo menos uma fração de fundo e uma fração de destilado médio; submeter a fração de fundo a uma etapa de retirada de cera para prover um segundo efluente; fracionar segundo efluente para prover pelo menos um destilado médio e óleo base; recuperar o destilado médio e o óleo base.
