trata-se de um aparelho para produzir informações indicativas de falhas cardíacas, por exemplo, fibrilação atrial, que compreende um sistema de processamento (502) para processar um sinal de análise produzido por um sistema de sensor (503) responsivo ao movimento, incluindo o movimento cardiovascular. o sistema de processamento é configurado para formar uma primeira quantidade de indicador que indica o grau de concentração da autocorrelação entre o sinal de análise e um ponto que corresponde à diferença de tempo zero entre amostras de sinal de análise cuja correlação mútua é expressa pela autocorrelação e uma segunda quantidade de indicador que indica a entropia espectral do sinal de análise. o sistema de processamento é configurado para determinar um indicador de falha cardíaca com base em pelo menos a primeira quantidade de indicador e a segunda quantidade de indicador.
