Abstract

a presente invenção se refere a um método, aparelho e um produto de programa de comutador para comunicação em uma rede. o aparelho envia uma mensagem de multidifusão para um dispositivo de rede. a mensagem de multidifusão facilita a descoberta de um endereço ip desconhecido do dispositivo de rede. o aparelho determina se uma primeira mensagem de resposta é recebida do dispositivo de rede em resposta à mensagem de multidifusão e determina o endereço ip do dispositivo de rede da primeira mensagem de resposta quando a primeira mensagem e resposta é recebida do dispositivo de rede. o aparelho estabelece uma conexão segura com o dispositivo de rede usando o endereço ip determinado. o aparelho envia uma mensagem de verificação de status da ligação ao dispositivo de rede para detectar uma ligação ponta a ponta com erro entre o aparelho e o dispositivo de rede.
