Abstract
a invenção refere-se à engenharia nuclear e é projetada para o arranque controlado do reator aumentando o nível de potência operacional do reator para após desligamentos normais e anormais. o invento resolve o problema de melhorar a confiabilidade da fonte de nêutrons operacional criando barreiras de segurança adicionais entre o refrigerante e os materiais da parte ativa da fonte. a fonte de nêutrons operacional é projetada como um invólucro de aço dentro do qual existe uma ampola contendo elementos ativos: antimônio e berílio com cavidades de antimônio e berílio separadas posicionadas coaxialmente. o antimônio está contido no invólucro central feito de uma liga à base de nióbio que não reage com o antimônio durante o enchimento e a operação. um leito de pó de berílio está localizado entre o invólucro de antimônio e o ivólucro da ampola. o invólucro da ampola é feito de aço grau martensita-ferrita que pouco reage com o berílio. um coletor de gás superior está localizado acima da ampola, que serve como um volume de compensação coletando produtos de fissão gasosa. na parte inferior, a ampola é suportada por um refletor e um coletor de gás inferior. os coletores de gás, o refletor e as anilhas são feitos de aço grau martensita-ferrita.
