Abstract
a presente invenção refere-se a aparelhos, sistemas e métodos para escape rápido de vácuo para mitigar o aumento repentino de quebra de oclusão dentro de um sistema de aspiração de facofluidos. o sistema de aspiração pode utilizar a bomba de deslocamento positivo para gerar fluxo e uma válvula de escape para realizar escape ou moderar a pressão ou nível de vácuo com base na retroalimentação de sensor de pressão detectada dentro do olho e na bomba. as modalidades descritas no presente documento fornecem uma válvula de escape de abertura rápida que produz uma resposta de fluxo de abertura rápida mediante rotação angular da válvula de escape de abertura rápida. o desempenho de fluxo na válvula de escape de abertura rápida é melhorado aumentando-se a área de corte transversal eficaz da válvula em posições de válvula quase fechada. em particular, o aumento na área de corte transversal é alcançado formando-se uma porção de borda côncava para complementar uma borda circular e a abertura de um canal de fluxo formado através da válvula de escape.
