Abstract

A presente invenção descreve um método para medição de uma vazão de um fluido que flui em um espaço entre um conduto externo e um elemento interno no conduto externo. Ondas ultrassônicas são transmitidas e recebidas através do espaço entre múltiplos pares de transdutores ultrassônicos ao longo de múltiplas trajetórias de propagação, respectivamente. Uma velocidade média de linha do fluido é calculada com base nos dados de cada par de transdutores ultrassônicos. Dessa forma, múltiplas velocidades médias de linha através do espaço são obtidas. A vazão do fluido é calculada com base nas múltiplas velocidades médias de linha.
