Abstract
a presente invenção refere-se a um método de determinação de tipo de falha e a um dispositivo de uma unidade de terminal para a automação usada na rede de distribuição de energia elétrica; sendo que o método compreende: para cada linha (li) dentre as linhas de entrada e as linhas de saída de um dispositivo de distribuição, registrar o número de falhas (nfi) que ocorrem na linha; após a ocorrência de uma falha, determinar, de acordo com a corrente e/ou a tensão de cada linha (li), se um refechamento automático é executado, e registrar o número de refechamentos automáticos (nr) executados; determinar, em um período de determinação de tipo de falha (nrj) para cada linha (li), se o número de falhas (nfi) que ocorrem na linha (li) é maior que o número máximo permitido de refechamentos automáticos (nrm) por parte de uma subestação de transformador, ou se a falha é uma falha repetida (sfi = 1), e, nesse caso, identificar a falha na linha (li) como uma falha permanente.
