Abstract
um adesivo não curado contém de 2 a 10 por cento em peso de partículas de um material orgânico semicristalino, preferencialmente um poliéster tendo um peso molecular médio numérico de 2000 a 10.000, um número de hidroxil de 10 a 60, e uma temperatura de fusão de 50 a 125ºc. o adesivo é aplicado por aquecimento do mesmo logo antes da aplicação, para fundir as partículas. após aplicação, o adesivo é resfriado para um valor abaixo da temperatura de fusão do material orgânico semicristalino, e então curado. o processo permite que o adesivo seja armazenado e bombeado em temperatura ambiente, devido à viscosidade moderada do material. após fusão e novo resfriamento do material orgânico semicristalino, o adesivo assume uma tensão de escoamento alta que confere resistência à lavagem muito boa. em modalidades preferenciais, a composição adesiva inclui uma resina epóxi e um agente de cura de epóxi.
