Abstract

a invenção refere-se a um processo para produzir um lingote de aço de baixa liga, compreendendo as seguintes etapas de: a) fundir todo ou parte de um eletrodo usando um processo de refusão de arco a vácuo, o eletrodo compreendendo, antes da fusão, ferro e carbono, a porção fundida do eletrodo sendo recolhida em um cadinho e assim formando uma fusão no interior do cadinho, e b) solidificar o banho de fundição por meio de uma troca de calor entre a banho de fundição e um líquido de arrefecimento, a troca de calor é realizada habilitando o estabelecimento de uma velocidade média de solidificação durante a etapa b), que não é superior a 45 µm/s, habilitando a obtenção de um lingote de aço de baixa liga.
