Abstract
a presente invenção refere-se à hidrogenação homogênea de carbonilas orgânicas, especialmente de ésteres, sob condições relativamente moderadas com o uso de complexos catalisadores de hidrido-boro-hidreto de ferro que têm ligantes pinça de amino-fosfina. o catalisador e o processo são bem adequados para catalisar a hidrogenação de uma ampla variedade de carbonilas orgânicas, como a hidrogenação de éster de ácido graxo para álcoois. em modalidades específicas, o processo pode ser realizado na ausência de solvente.
