Abstract
NAVIO PIPELAY DOTADO DE UM GUINDASTE. Um navio pipelay tem um guindaste tendo uma base com um interior oco e um sistema para o manuseio de stinger para o manuseio de um stinger que se prolonga na lateral do navio. O sistema para o manuseio de stinger tem uma ligação que se prolonga para fora de uma abertura a partir do interior oco na direção da lateral do navio para a conexão com o stinger. A ligação é feita para transmitir tanto cargas de tração como de compressão. Uma estrutura de macaco hidráulico, localizada no interior oco da base do guindaste está montada para estender e retrair a ligação a partir do interior da base do guindaste para levantar e abaixar o stinger. Um acoplamento universal pode ser provido para o autoalinhamento da ligação com o stinger no plano horizontal.
